Contacts
Contacts are the people behind your deals — buyers, champions, billing contacts, and collaborators. Every interaction your team logs hangs off a contact or the company they belong to.
What a contact holds
- Identity — first and last name (required), email, phone, and position/title.
- Company link — an optional reference to the company the contact works for. A company can have many contacts.
- Notes — free-form notes on the record, plus attached Notes created by your team over time.
Working with contacts
Contacts live at /contactswith search across name and email, company filtering, and sorting by last name, email, or creation date. The detail view shows the contact's company, related deals, and note history.
Deleting a contact is a soft delete — recoverable for a limited window, after which it is permanently removed.
Tips
- Link contacts to their company as you create them; deal and invoice workflows surface company contacts automatically.
- Use tasks with a
contactIdto schedule follow-ups tied to a specific person.
API access
Contacts are fully manageable over the REST API with the contacts:read and contacts:write scopes. See the Contacts API reference.
